Formula Vee Australia

Entry Information to Round 2 of the Formula Vee Australia Series - Mallala 10th and 11th June

Attached and below is information on how to enter for Round 2 of the Formula Vee Australia Series, which is to be held at Mallala Motorsport Park on the 10th and 11th June. As per request from the Sporting Car Club of SA (SA’s Promoter) please apply through the www.meecamsau.com site as it is their preferred method.

If we can get 15 1200’s or more to the event, the SCCSA have offered us separate 1200 and 1600 races so any 1200 competitors who are sitting on the fence thinking about coming then if you come you may be the one how gets up over the 15 vee number and gets us separate races which will be great to see.

Typically we have 5 races plus qualifying at a two day race meeting at Mallala. The Formula Vee Australia Series only allows for 3 races to be included in the points score so only the first three races will count. All competitors are more than welcome to compete in all 4 or 5 races but for those looking to make an early exit to start the journey home, The Formula Vee Australia Series presentation is planned to be conducted at Lunch on Sunday with Formula Vee SA having our round presentations after the last race.

If you are looking for Accommodation recommendations then have a look at the options at the Mallala website http://www.mallala.com/information-2/accomodation/. Gawler is the closet town and has lots of alternative accommodation and things to do and see. From talking to previous interstate competitors the Highway 1 Caravan and Tourist park has cabins for hire and if you make them aware that you have a trailer, they will find you a location with enough parking. There is little around the caravan park and it’s still 25 minutes from the track so bring your own entertainment.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please give me a call. If its entry questions, Keith Williamson is the guy to ask and his contact details are shown below.

See you at Mallala.
