The Formula Vee Association of NSW is proud to be hosting the Edco Cleaning Products 2018 National Challenge. The event will be held over the weekend of November 3 & 4 at Sydney MotorSport Park at Eastern Creek.

Entries have just opened through the SMSP Competitor Portal
Entries are open to Formula Vee (1200 & 1600) and Historic Formula Vee cars
Cost
All Entrants – $595
This price includes:
- Two separate 1200(incl. Historic) and 1600cc qualifying sessions
- Three separate 1200(incl. Historic) and 1600cc heat races
- Separate 1200(incl. Historic) and 1600cc finals
- National Challenge event shirt & cap
- Discounted pit lane garage space for all three days (garage mandatory, see shirt/dinner form)
- Friday night welcome drinks at the Alpha Hotel
- Driver’s ticket to presentation dinner
Practice
Friday Practice is available through the SMSP Competitor Portal
ARDC Members $160
NON-ARDC Member $190
Practice has to be booked separately through the Portal after entering. Practice prices increase by $50 if not pre purchased.
The FVANSW will subsidise the Pit lane garages for the event. (3 x Formula Vee cars allocated per garage) There is a $50 fee per car included in the attached order form. Due to another event utilising the skid pan, there will be no other pit areas available during the weekend.
Shirts/Caps/Dinner
Please fill in and email the form (click here for form) by October 9th to allow for ordering the event shirts and caps and to allow plenty of time to organise catering.
Remember, every entrant receives a shirt, cap and a ticket to the Presentation Dinner being held in the Hinxman Room at the track on Sunday night.
The National Challenge will be utilising the Gardner GP circuit (the one used by V8 Supercars) Circuit entry is via Gate A off Ferrers Rd

Entry to the event is only through the SMSP Competitor portal (above). Before commencing, have your credit card or banking details ready, this system will time out quickly and you will have to log in again. Also have your CAMS member number ready as this will be the ID used to identify you.
If you have not entered before at SMSP you will have to register yourself and the driver (if different from the entrant) also needs to be registered. Have your CAMS ID number, Licence, Logbook, Dorian number and Club Membership number ready. If you are entering your own car, please choose ‘I am both a Competitor and a Driver’.
If you are already registered scroll down and click on the green tick next to ‘Formula Vee Nationals’
From here you will be able to log in using your CAMS ID and the password you created when you originally registered. If you have read all of the on screen instructions you won’t have a problem. Before you finish, there is an option to add another entry, you will be able to then book the Friday practice. If you have already exited the portal, simply click on the green tick next to ‘Formula Vee Nationals Private Practice’.
Don’t forget to also download the Supp Regs while you are there by clicking on REGS NOW ONLINE (next to the green tick). Further information will be posted on the site closer to the event, you will be advised when they are available.
